7614fe8888 bnx2x: Force link UP when the interface is in LOOPBACK mode
When the interface does not have carrier but when it's put into
loopback mode (for tests), it does not make sense to not have

559bcac35f via-rhine: Fix bugs in NAPI support.
1) rhine_tx() should use dev_kfree_skb() not dev_kfree_skb_irq()

2) rhine_slow_event_task's NAPI triggering logic is racey, it
should just hit the interrupt mask register. This is the
   same as commit 7dbb491878
("r8169: avoid NAPI scheduling delay.") made to fix the same
problem in the r8169 driver. From Francois Romieu.

Pull a huge ab8500/pm2301 pile of changes from Lee Jones. Lee did an
awesome job cleaning this stuff up and thus brought ab8500 Stericsson's
development tree much closer to the mainline. Even more changes to come,

be6d2867b4 PCI: acpiphp: Remove dead code for PCI host bridge hotplug
Commit 668192b678 "PCI: acpiphp: Move host bridge hotplug
to pci_root.c" has moved PCI host bridge hotplug logic from acpiphp
to pci_root, but there is still PCI host bridge hotplug related
dead code left in acpiphp. So remove those dead code.

Now companion ACPI devices are always created before corresponding
PCI devices. And the ACPI event handle_hotplug_event_bridge() will be
installed only if it has associated PCI device. So remove dead code to
handle bridge hot-adding in function handle_hotplug_event_bridge().

482bb4e6c6 iio/adc: (max1363) Fix data conversion problems
For chips with more than 8 bit ADC resolution, received data was always
masked against 0xfff, ie with a 12 bit mask. This can result in bad data
for chips with 10 bit resolution if those chips have higher bits set
(seen with MAX1139).

The receive buffer was defined as char array. This could result in
unintentional sign extensions if the upper bit in a received byte
was set. Since the chip is configured for unipolar mode, we never
have to handle negative values, and sign extensions are never needed.

6a6df2d911 Partially revert "staging:iio:gyro:adxrs450 make more use of spi_read and spi_write."
This partially reverts commit cb4496876f. There is
no apparent reason why we should split a transaction which consists out of
multiple transfers into multiple transactions each having one transfer. While
this works it introduces a bunch of unnecessary context switch and additional
setup costs.

Pull scsi target fixes from Nicholas Bellinger:
"Here's the current set of v3.8-rc fixes in the target-pending.git
queue. Apologies in advance for these missing the -rc6 release, and
having to be destined for -rc7 code.

The majority of these patches are regression bugfixes specific to
v3.8-rc code changes, namely the zero-length CDB handling breakage
after the sense_reason_t conversion, and preventing configfs port
linking for unconfigured devices after the recent struct
se_subsystem_dev removal. These is also one (the divide by zero bug
for unconfigured devices) that is CC'ed to stable."

target: Fix divide by zero bug in fabric_max_sectors for unconfigured devices
target: Fix regression allowing unconfigured devices to fabric port link
tcm_vhost: fix pr_err on early kick
  target: Fix zero-length READ_CAPACITY_16 regression
  target: Fix zero-length MODE_SENSE regression
target: Fix zero-length INQUIRY additional sense code regression

4d79833245 leds: renesas-tpu: Improve the readability to pick the lowest acceptable rate
I spent a few minutes to understand why the code catching the mismatch case
by checking if k is 0 or not. And the code using "k - 1" as array index is
unusual.

This patch checks acceptable rate from the lowest rate, and then we don't need
to subtract k by 1. This change improves the readability.

a1932edf8b leds-lp8788: fix a parent device in _probe()
The lp8788-keyled is a platform driver of lp8788-mfd. The platform
device is allocated when mfd_add_devices() is called in lp8788-mfd.
On the other hand, 'lp->dev' is the i2c client device.

Therefore, this 'platform_device' is a proper parent device in case
of resource managed mem alloc, registering led device and device
kernel messages.

08541cbcc7 leds: leds-pwm: Add device tree bindings
The DT binding for the pwm-leds devices are similar to the gpio-leds type.
LEDs are represented as sub-nodes of the pwm-leds device.
The code for handling the DT boot is based on the code found in the
leds-gpio driver and adapted to use PWMs instead of GPIOs.
To avoid having custom cleanup code in case of DT boot the newly created
devm_of_pwm_get() API is used to get the correct PWM instance.

For usage see:
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/leds/leds-pwm.txt
