When transmitting IEC60985 linear PCM audio, we configure the
Aduio Sample Channel Status information in the IEC60958 frame.
The status bit is already available in iec.status of hdmi_codec_params.
This fix the issue that audio does not come out on some monitors
(e.g. LG 22CV241)
Note that these registers are only for interfaces:
I2S audio interface, General Purpose Audio (GPA), or AHB audio DMA
(AHBAUDDMA).
For S/PDIF interface this information comes from the stream.
Currently this function dw_hdmi_set_channel_status is only called
from dw-hdmi-i2s-audio in I2S setup.

This reverts commit 83f35bc3a8.
There are at least two DSI controller drivers which relies on the old
behaviour of adv7511 driver. To avoid platform breakage this patch
should be reverted. This is a temporary solution, as it blocks adv7511
usage with other platforms.
Assumption that DSI device driver (bridge/panel) should first expose
drm_bridge/drm_panel object, then look for DSI bus is just incorrect -
it can work with devices controlled via i2c but it cannot work with
devices controlled via DSI - they will not be able to probe.
To solve the issue following steps should be performed:
- rework reverted patch allowing co-operation with broken DSI controller
drivers - with simple/ugly workaround,
- fix controller drivers and then remove workaround.

The drm panel bridge creates a connector using a connector type
explicitly passed by the display controller or bridge driver that
instantiates the panel bridge. Now that drm_panel reports its connector
type, we can use it to avoid passing an explicit (and often incorrect)
connector type to drm_panel_bridge_add() and
devm_drm_panel_bridge_add().
Several drivers report incorrect or unknown connector types to
userspace. Reporting a different type may result in a breakage. For that
reason, rename (devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add() to
(devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add_typed(), and add new
(devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add() functions that use the panel connector
type. Update all callers of (devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add() to the _typed
function, they will be converted one by one after testing.
The panel drivers have been updated with the following Coccinelle
semantic patch, with manual inspection and fixes to indentation.

function,
- add a mutex protecting a CEC notifier.
Changes since v4:
- typo fix
Changes since v2:
- removed unnecessary NULL check before a call to
cec_notifier_conn_unregister,
- use cec_notifier_phys_addr_invalidate to invalidate physical
address.
Changes since v1:
Add memory barrier to make sure that the notifier
becomes visible to the irq thread once it is fully
constructed.

This happens because vga->ddc either contains a valid DDC channel
pointer, or -ENODEV, and drm_connector_init_with_ddc() expects a valid
DDC channel pointer, or NULL.
Fix this by resetting vga->ddc to NULL in case of -ENODEV, and replacing
the existing error checks by non-NULL checks.
This is similar to what the HDMI connector driver does.

In the general move to have i2c_new_*_device functions which return
ERR_PTR instead of NULL, this patch converts i2c_new_secondary_device().
There are only few users, so this patch converts the I2C core and all
users in one go. The function gets renamed to i2c_new_ancillary_device()
so out-of-tree users will get a build failure to understand they need to
adapt their error checking code.

When using an I2S source using a different clock source (usually the I2S
audio HW uses dedicated PLLs, different from the HDMI PHY PLL), fixed
CTS values will cause some frequent audio drop-out and glitches as
reported on Amlogic, Allwinner and Rockchip SoCs setups.
Setting the CTS in automatic mode will let the HDMI controller generate
automatically the CTS value to match the input audio clock.
The DesignWare DW-HDMI User Guide explains:
For Automatic CTS generation
Write "0" on the bit field "CTS_manual", Register 0x3205: AUD_CTS3
The DesignWare DW-HDMI Databook explains :
If "CTS_manual" bit equals 0b this registers contains "audCTS[19:0]"
generated by the Cycle time counter according to specified timing.
