drm/tegra: Changes for v4.12-rc1
This contains various fixes to the host1x driver as well as a plug for a
leak of kernel pointers to userspace.
A fairly big addition this time around is the Video Image Composer (VIC)
support that can be used to accelerate some 2D and image compositing
operations.
Furthermore the driver now supports FB modifiers, so we no longer rely
on a custom IOCTL to set those.
Finally this contains a few preparatory patches for Tegra186 support
which unfortunately didn't quite make it this time, but will hopefully
be ready for v4.13.

Add a set of falcon helper routines for use by the tegradrm client drivers
of the various falcon-based engines.
The falcon is a microcontroller that acts as a frontend for the rest of a
particular Tegra engine. In order to properly utilize these engines, the
frontend must be booted before pushing any commands.

Add a new IO virtual memory allocation API to allow clients to
allocate non-GEM memory in the Tegra DRM IOMMU domain. This is
required e.g. for loading client firmware when clients are attached
to the IOMMU domain.
The allocator allocates contiguous physical pages that are then
mapped contiguously to the IOMMU domain using the iova_domain
library provided by the kernel. Contiguous physical pages are
used so that the same allocator works also when IOMMU support
is disabled and therefore devices access physical memory directly.

Add FB modifiers to allow user-space to specify that a surface is in one
of the two tiling formats supported by Tegra chips, and add support in
the tegradrm driver to handle them properly. This is necessary for the
display controller to directly display buffers generated by the GPU.
This feature is intended to replace the dedicated IOCTL enabled
by TEGRA_STAGING and to provide a non-staging alternative to that
solution.

Each open file descriptor can have any number of contexts associated
with it. To differentiate between these contexts a unique ID is required
and back when these userspace interfaces were introduced, in commit
d43f81cbaf ("drm/tegra: Add gr2d device"), the pointer to the context
structure was deemed adequate. However, this leaks information about
kernel internal memory to userspace, which can potentially be exploited.
Switch the context parameter to be allocated from an IDR, which has the
added benefit of providing an easy way to look up a context from its ID.

Instead of receiving the num_crts as a parameter, we can read it
directly from the mode_config structure. I audited the drivers that
invoke this helper and I believe all of them initialize the mode_config
struct accordingly, prior to calling the fb_helper.
I used the following coccinelle hack to make this transformation, except
for the function headers and comment updates. The first and second
rules are split because I couldn't find a way to remove the unused
temporary variables at the same time I removed the parameter.

First -misc pull for 4.11:
- drm_mm rework + lots of selftests (Chris Wilson)
- new connector_list locking+iterators
- plenty of kerneldoc updates
- format handling rework from Ville
- atomic helper changes from Maarten for better plane corner-case handling
in drivers, plus the i915 legacy cursor patch that needs this
- bridge cleanup from Laurent
- plus plenty of small stuff all over
- also contains a merge of the 4.10 docs tree so that we could apply the
dma-buf kerneldoc patches
It's a lot more than usual, but due to the merge window blackout it also
covers about 4 weeks, so all in line again on a per-week basis. The more
annoying part with no pull request for 4 weeks is managing cross-tree
work. The -intel pull request I'll follow up with does conflict quite a
bit with -misc here. Longer-term (if drm-misc keeps growing) a
drm-next-queued to accept pull request for the next merge window during
this time might be useful.
I'd also like to backmerge -rc2+this into drm-intel next week, we have
quite a pile of patches waiting for the stuff in here.

<drm/drm_crtc.h> used to define most of the in-kernel KMS API. It has
now been split into separate files for each object type, but still
includes most other KMS headers to avoid breaking driver compilation.
As a step towards fixing that problem, remove the inclusion of
<drm/drm_encoder.h> from <drm/drm_crtc.h> and include it instead where
appropriate. Also remove the forward declarations of the drm_encoder and
drm_encoder_helper_funcs structures from <drm/drm_crtc.h> as they're not
needed in the header.
<drm/drm_encoder.h> now has to include <drm/drm_mode.h> and contain a
forward declaration of struct drm_encoder in order to allow including it
as the first header in a compilation unit.

host1x command buffer patching requires that the buffer object can be
mapped into kernel address space. However, the recent addition of IOMMU
support did not account for this requirement. Therefore host1x engines

Memory for the brick clock is allocated by devm_kzalloc(), so there is
no need here to free it explicitly.
The only function that calls tegra_clk_sor_brick_register() is the probe

The devm_pinctrl_register() function returns an error pointer or a valid
