This patch moves USB_BUFSIZ into global header file as
USB_COMP_EP0_BUFSIZ. There is currently only one user (f_sourcesink)
besides composite which need it. Ideally f_sourcesink would have its
own ep0 buffer. Lets keep it that way it was for now.

epautoconf has two global variables which count the endpoint number of
last assigned endpoint.
This patch removes the global variable and keeps it as per (UDC) gadget.
While here, the ifdef is removed and now the in and outpoint are
enumerated unconditionally. The dwc3 for instance supports 32 endpoints
in total.

This patch removes the global variable composite in composite.c.
The private data which was saved there is now passed via an additional
argument to the bind() function in struct usb_gadget_driver.
Only the "old-style" UDC drivers have to be touched here, new style are
doing it right because this change is made in udc-core.

It was moved to be an argument in 07a18bd716 ("usb gadget: don't

avoid the section missmatch. The warning was shown because ->bind is
marked as __init becuase it is a one time init. The warning can be also
suppresed by whitelisting the variable i.e. rename it to lets say _probe.

Mark keys that might be used to receive management
frames so drivers can fall back on software crypto
for them if they don't support hardware offload.
As the new flag is only set correctly for RX keys
and the existing IEEE80211_KEY_FLAG_SW_MGMT flag
can only affect TX, also rename the latter to
IEEE80211_KEY_FLAG_SW_MGMT_TX.

Many regulators support a bypass mode where they simply switch their
input supply to the output. This is mainly used in low power retention
states where power consumption is extremely low so higher voltage or
less clean supplies can be used.
Support this by providing ops for the drivers and a consumer API which
allows the device to be put into bypass mode if all consumers enable it
and the machine enables permission for this.
This is not supported as a mode since the existing modes are rarely used
due to fuzzy definition and mostly redundant with modern hardware which is
able to respond promptly to load changes.

This driver supports Fairchild FAN53555 Digitally Programmable
TinyBuck Regulator. The FAN53555 is a step-down switching voltage
regulator that delivers a digitally programmable output from an
input voltage supply of 2.5V to 5.5V. The output voltage is
programmed through an I2C interface.

Previously, there was bio_clone() but it only allocated from the fs bio
set; as a result various users were open coding it and using
__bio_clone().
This changes bio_clone() to become bio_clone_bioset(), and then we add
bio_clone() and bio_clone_kmalloc() as wrappers around it, making use of
the functionality the last patch adedd.
This will also help in a later patch changing how bio cloning works.

Previously, bio_kmalloc() and bio_alloc_bioset() behaved slightly
different because there was some almost-duplicated code - this fixes
some of that.
The important change is that previously bio_kmalloc() always set
bi_io_vec = bi_inline_vecs, even if nr_iovecs == 0 - unlike
bio_alloc_bioset(). This would cause bio_has_data() to return true; I
don't know if this resulted in any actual bugs but it was certainly
wrong.
bio_kmalloc() and bio_alloc_bioset() also have different arbitrary
limits on nr_iovecs - 1024 (UIO_MAXIOV) for bio_kmalloc(), 256
(BIO_MAX_PAGES) for bio_alloc_bioset(). This patch doesn't fix that, but
at least they're enforced closer together and hopefully they will be
fixed in a later patch.
This'll also help with some future cleanups - there are a fair number of
functions that allocate bios (e.g. bio_clone()), and now they don't have
to be duplicated for bio_alloc(), bio_alloc_bioset(), and bio_kmalloc().

Now that we've got generic code for freeing bios allocated from bio
pools, this isn't needed anymore.
This patch also makes bio_free() static, since without bi_destructor
there should be no need for it to be called anywhere else.
bio_free() is now only called from bio_put, so we can refactor those a
bit - move some code from bio_put() to bio_free() and kill the redundant
bio->bi_next = NULL.

Reusing bios is something that's been highly frowned upon in the past,
but driver code keeps doing it anyways. If it's going to happen anyways,
we should provide a generic method.
This'll help with getting rid of bi_destructor - drivers/block/pktcdvd.c
was open coding it, by doing a bio_init() and resetting bi_destructor.
This required reordering struct bio, but the block layer is not yet
nearly fast enough for any cacheline effects to matter here.

With the old code, when you allocate a bio from a bio pool you have to
implement your own destructor that knows how to find the bio pool the
bio was originally allocated from.
This adds a new field to struct bio (bi_pool) and changes
bio_alloc_bioset() to use it. This makes various bio destructors
unnecessary, so they're then deleted.

Replace netlink_set_nonroot by one new field `flags' in
struct netlink_kernel_cfg that is passed to netlink_kernel_create.
This patch also renames NL_NONROOT_* to NL_CFG_F_NONROOT_* since
now the flags field in nl_table is generic (so we can add more
flags if needed in the future).
Also adjust all callers in the net-next tree to use these flags
instead of netlink_set_nonroot.

For those SoCs that have hundreds of clock outputs, their clock
DT bindings could reasonably define #clock-cells as 1 and require
the client device specify the index of the clock it consumes in the
cell of its "clocks" phandle.
Add a generic of_clk_src_onecell_get() function for this purpose.

Some PHC device drivers may deliver PPS events with a significant
and variable delay, but still be able to measure precisely what
that delay is.
Add a pps_sub_ts() function for subtracting a delay from the
timestamp(s) in a PPS event, and a PTP event type (PTP_CLOCK_PPSUSR)
for which the caller provides a complete PPS event.

With IMA-appraisal's removal of the iint mutex and taking the i_mutex
instead, allocating the iint becomes a lot simplier, as we don't need
to be concerned with two processes racing to allocate the iint. This
patch cleans up and improves performance for allocating the iint.

IMA currently maintains an integrity measurement list used to assert the
integrity of the running system to a third party. The IMA-appraisal
extension adds local integrity validation and enforcement of the
measurement against a "good" value stored as an extended attribute
'security.ima'. The initial methods for validating 'security.ima' are
hashed based, which provides file data integrity, and digital signature
based, which in addition to providing file data integrity, provides
authenticity.
This patch creates and maintains the 'security.ima' xattr, containing
the file data hash measurement. Protection of the xattr is provided by
EVM, if enabled and configured.
Based on policy, IMA calls evm_verifyxattr() to verify a file's metadata
integrity and, assuming success, compares the file's current hash value
with the one stored as an extended attribute in 'security.ima'.

Passing uids and gids on NETLINK_CB from a process in one user
namespace to a process in another user namespace can result in the
wrong uid or gid being presented to userspace. Avoid that problem by
passing kuids and kgids instead.
- define struct scm_creds for use in scm_cookie and netlink_skb_parms
that holds uid and gid information in kuid_t and kgid_t.
- Modify scm_set_cred to fill out scm_creds by heand instead of using
cred_to_ucred to fill out struct ucred. This conversion ensures
userspace does not get incorrect uid or gid values to look at.
- Modify scm_recv to convert from struct scm_creds to struct ucred
before copying credential values to userspace.
- Modify __scm_send to populate struct scm_creds on in the scm_cookie,
instead of just copying struct ucred from userspace.
- Modify netlink_sendmsg to copy scm_creds instead of struct ucred
into the NETLINK_CB.

potential interrupt storm.
Gertjan van Wingerde provides a register-width fix for rt2x00, and
a rt2x00 fix to prevent incorrectly detecting the rfkill status.
He also provides a device ID patch.
Hante Meuleman gives us three brcmfmac fixes, one that properly
initializes a command structure, one that fixes a race condition that
could lose usb requests, and one that removes some log spam.
Marc Kleine-Budde offers an rt2x00 fix for a voltage setting on some
specific devices.
Mohammed Shafi Shajakhan sent an ath9k fix to avoid a crash related to
using timers that aren't allocated when 2 wire bluetooth coexistence
hardware is in use.
Sergei Poselenov changes rt2800usb to do some validity checking for
received packets, avoiding crashes on an ARM Soc.
Stone Piao gives us an mwifiex fix for an incorrectly set skb length
value for a command buffer.
All of these are localized to their specific drivers, and relatively
small. The power-related patches from Felix are bigger than I would
like, but I merged them in consideration of their isolation to ath9k
and the sensitive nature of power settings in wireless devices.

Similar to INQUIRY and MODE SENSE, construct the sense data in a
buffer and later copy it to the scatterlist. Do not do anything,
but still clear a pending unit attention condition, if the allocation
length is zero.
However, SPC tells us that "If a REQUEST SENSE command is terminated with
CHECK CONDITION status [and] the REQUEST SENSE command was received on
an I_T nexus with a pending unit attention condition (i.e., before the
device server reports CHECK CONDITION status), then the device server
shall not clear the pending unit attention condition." Do the
transport_kmap_data_sg early to detect this case.
It also tells us "Device servers shall not adjust the additional sense
length to reflect truncation if the allocation length is less than the
sense data available", so do not do that! Note that the err variable
is write-only.

OMAP4's GFX overlay has smaller fifo than the rest of the overlays
(including writeback "overlay"). This seems to be the reason for
underflows in some more demanding scenarios.
We can avoid the problems by using the WB fifo for GFX overlay, and vice
versa. WB usage is not supported yet, but when it will, it should
perform just fine with smaller fifo as there are no hard realtime
constraints with WB.

Currently the way to configure clocks related to DSI (both DSI and DISPC
clocks) happens via omapdss platform data. The reason for this is that
configuring the DSS clocks is a very complex problem, and it's
impossible for the SW to know requirements about things like
interference.
However, for general cases it should be fine to calculate the dividers
for clocks in the SW. The calculated clocks are probably not perfect,
but should work.
This patch adds support to calculate the dividers when using DSI command
mode panels. The panel gives the required DDR clock rate and LP clock
rate, and the DSI driver configures itself and DISPC accordingly.
This patch is somewhat ugly, though. The code does its job by modifying
the platform data where the clock dividers would be if the board file
gave them. This is not how it's going to be in the future, but allows us
to have quite simple patch and keep the backward compatibility.
It also allows the developer to still give the exact dividers from the
board file when there's need for that, as long as the panel driver does
not override them.
There are also other areas for improvement. For example, it would be
better if the panel driver could ask for a DSI clock in a certain range,
as, at least command mode panels, the panel can work fine with many
different clock speeds.
While the patch is not perfect, it allows us to remove the hardcoded
clock dividers from the board file, making it easier to bring up a new
panel and to use device tree from omapdss.

We currently manage HDMI GPIOs in the board files via
platform_enable/disable calls. This won't work with device tree, and in
any case the correct place to manage the GPIOs is in the HDMI driver.
This patch moves the handling of the GPIOs to the HDMI driver. The GPIO
handling is moved to the common hdmi.c file, and this probably needs to
be revisited when adding OMAP5 HDMI support to see if the GPIO handling
needs to be moved to IP specific files.

Since VFs may be mapped to VMs which aren't trusted entities, flow
steering rules attached through the wrapper on behalf of VFs must be
checked to make sure that their L2 specification relate to MAC address
assigned to that VF, and add L2 specification if its missing.

Commit 43cedbf0e8 (SUNRPC: Ensure that
we grab the XPRT_LOCK before calling xprt_alloc_slot) is causing
hangs in the case of NFS over UDP mounts.
Since neither the UDP or the RDMA transport mechanism use dynamic slot
allocation, we can skip grabbing the socket lock for those transports.
Add a new rpc_xprt_op to allow switching between the TCP and UDP/RDMA
case.
Note that the NFSv4.1 back channel assigns the slot directly
through rpc_run_bc_task, so we can ignore that case.

~0 can not be casted to u8. Instead of using the IPACK_ANY_ID for the format
field we introduce a new IPACK_ANY_FORMAT specifically for that field and
defined as 0xff.

- Store the ipc owner and creator with a kuid
- Store the ipc group and the crators group with a kgid.
- Add error handling to ipc_update_perms, allowing it to
fail if the uids and gids can not be converted to kuids
or kgids.
- Modify the proc files to display the ipc creator and
owner in the user namespace of the opener of the proc file.

With this patch we no longer reuse function tracer infrastructure, now
we register our own tracer back-end via a debugfs knob.
It's a bit more code, but that is the only downside. On the bright side we
have:
- Ability to make persistent_ram module removable (when needed, we can
move ftrace_ops struct into a module). Note that persistent_ram is still
not removable for other reasons, but with this patch it's just one
thing less to worry about;
- Pstore part is more isolated from the generic function tracer. We tried
it already by registering our own tracer in available_tracers, but that
way we're loosing ability to see the traces while we record them to
pstore. This solution is somewhere in the middle: we only register
"internal ftracer" back-end, but not the "front-end";
- When there is only pstore tracing enabled, the kernel will only write
to the pstore buffer, omitting function tracer buffer (which, of course,
still can be enabled via 'echo function > current_tracer').

By using CLK_GET_RATE_NOCACHE flag, we tell the clk_get_rate API to
issue the hw for an updated clock rate. This can be used for a clock
which rate may be updated without a client necessary modifying it.
