3821b4247b wireless: remove duplicate enum ieee80211_eid definitions
WLAN_EID_WPA and WLAN_EID_GENERIC mapped to the same value
as WLAN_EID_VENDOR_SPECIFIC. The last one being more in line
with the standard specification. Removing WLAN_EID_WPA and
WLAN_EID_GENERIC as there are no longer drivers using these.

f329b1755b regulator: tps65090: add external control support for DCDC
The TPS65090's DCDC output can also be enable/disable through the
external digital input signal. Add support for enable/disable
either through register access via I2C or through external
control inputs. The external control inputs can be driven through
GPIOs also and hence adding support for passing the GPIO number.

3a81ef8c27 regulator: tps65090: Add support for LDO regulators
TPS65090 supports the two LDOs, LDO1 and LDO2. These are
always ON regulators. The output on these LDOs are available
once the input voltage available for these LDOs.
Add support for these LDOs regulators.

24282a1ca3 regulator: tps65090: Register all regulators in single probe call
MFD driver registers the regulator driver once per device and
hence it is require to register all regulators in single probe
call.
Following are details of changes done to achieve this:
- Move the regulator enums to mfd header and remove the
  tps65090-regulator.h as it does not contain more info.
- Add max regulator and register all regulators even if there
  is no regulator init data from platform.
- Convert regulator init data to pointer type in platform data.
- Add input supply name in regulator desc to provide input supply.
- Separate desc information from driver information.
- Disable external control bit to have control through register write.

64d7155cdf UAPI: Remove empty non-UAPI Kbuild files
Remove non-UAPI Kbuild files that have become empty as a result of UAPI
disintegration.  They used to have only header-y lines in them and those have
now moved to the Kbuild files in the corresponding uapi/ directories.

Possibly these should not be removed but rather have a comment inserted to say
they are intentionally left blank.  This would make it easier to add generated
header lines in future without having to restore the infrastructure.

Note that at this point not all the UAPI disintegration parts have been merged,
so it is likely that more empty Kbuild files will turn up.

It is probably necessary to make the files non-empty to prevent the patch
program from automatically deleting them when it reduces them to nothing.

0d4529c534 regmap: make lock/unlock functions customizable
It is sometimes convenient for a regmap user to override the standard
regmap lock/unlock functions with custom functions.
For instance this can be useful in case an already existing spinlock
or mutex has to be used for locking a set of registers instead of the
internal regmap spinlock/mutex.
Note that the fast_io field of struct regmap_bus is ignored in case
custom locking functions are used.

0c552e5fb9 FRV: Fix linux/elf-fdpic.h
It seems I accidentally switched the guard on linux/elf-fdpic.h from #ifdef
__KERNEL__ to #ifndef __KERNEL__ when attempting to expand the guarded region
to cover the elf_fdpic_params struct when doing the UAPI split - with the
result that the struct became unavailable to kernel code.

Move incorrectly guarded bits back to the kernelspace header.

Whilst we're at it, the __KERNEL__ guards can be deleted as they're no longer
necessary.

dd67d32dbc freezer: add missing mb's to freezer_count() and freezer_should_skip()
A task is considered frozen enough between freezer_do_not_count() and
freezer_count() and freezers use freezer_should_skip() to test this
condition.  This supposedly works because freezer_count() always calls
try_to_freezer() after clearing %PF_FREEZER_SKIP.

However, there currently is nothing which guarantees that
freezer_count() sees %true freezing() after clearing %PF_FREEZER_SKIP
when freezing is in progress, and vice-versa.  A task can escape the
freezing condition in effect by freezer_count() seeing !freezing() and
freezer_should_skip() seeing %PF_FREEZER_SKIP.

This patch adds smp_mb()'s to freezer_count() and
freezer_should_skip() such that either %true freezing() is visible to
freezer_count() or !PF_FREEZER_SKIP is visible to
freezer_should_skip().

5edee61ede cgroup: cgroup_subsys->fork() should be called after the task is added to css_set
cgroup core has a bug which violates a basic rule about event
notifications - when a new entity needs to be added, you add that to
the notification list first and then make the new entity conform to
the current state.  If done in the reverse order, an event happening
inbetween will be lost.

cgroup_subsys->fork() is invoked way before the new task is added to
the css_set.  Currently, cgroup_freezer is the only user of ->fork()
and uses it to make new tasks conform to the current state of the
freezer.  If FROZEN state is requested while fork is in progress
between cgroup_fork_callbacks() and cgroup_post_fork(), the child
could escape freezing - the cgroup isn't frozen when ->fork() is
called and the freezer couldn't see the new task on the css_set.

This patch moves cgroup_subsys->fork() invocation to
cgroup_post_fork() after the new task is added to the css_set.
cgroup_fork_callbacks() is removed.

Because now a task may be migrated during cgroup_subsys->fork(),
freezer_fork() is updated so that it adheres to the usual RCU locking
and the rather pointless comment on why locking can be different there
is removed (if it doesn't make anything simpler, why even bother?).

98aed08e16 ARM: OMAP: SmartReflex: pass device dependent data via platform data
Remove the device dependent code (ex. cpu_is_xxx()) and settings
from the driver code and instead pass them via the platform
data. This allows a clean separation of the driver code and the platform
code, as required by the move of the platform header files to
include/linux/platform_data.

Note about the smartreflex functional clocks: the smartreflex fclks
are derived from sys_clk and have the same name as the main_clk from
the hwmod entry, in order for the SmartReflex driver to request the
fclk (using clk_get(dev, "fck")).

53db20d123 mmc: omap: Remove cpu_is_omap usage from the driver
This is needed for the ARM common zImage support.

We can use the existing slot features to pass omap1
specific options to the driver. For omap2 we don't
want to pass anything new as that will be eventually
moved to use device tree based init.

Note that this patch depends on earlier patch that
moves plat/mmc.h into include/linux/platform_data.

eb77b6a78a ARM: OMAP2+: onenand: connected soc info in pdata
onenand driver needs to know whether soc is falling under
34xx family to properly handle onenand. But driver is not
supposed to do cpu_is_* check, hence educate platform data
with this information. Driver can make use of it to avoid

757ef79188 ARM: OMAP2+: GPMC: Remove unused OneNAND get_freq() platform function
A platform function pointer for getting the frequency of a OneNAND device
was added so that a platform could specify a custom function for returning
the frequency and not just rely on the OneNAND version to determine the
frequency. However, this platform function pointer is not currently being
used and I am not sure if it ever has.

OneNAND devices are not so common these days and as far as I know not being
used with new devices. Therefore, it is most likely that this get_freq()
function pointer will not be used and so remove it.

Given that the get_freq() function pointer is not used, neither is the
clk_dep variable and so all references to it can also be removed.

bd7a2b600a regulator: core: Support for continuous voltage range
Some regulators can set any voltage within the constraints range,
not being limited to specified operating points.

This patch makes it possible to describe such regulator and makes
the regulator_is_supported_voltage() function behave correctly.

0c57067430 regulator: tps51632: Add tps51632 regulator driver
The TPS51632 is a driverless step down controller with
serial control. Advanced features such as D-Cap+
architecture with overlapping pulse support and OSR
overshoot reduction provide fast transient response,
lowest output capacitance and high efficiency.
The TPS51632 supports both I2C and DVFS interfaces
(through PWM) for dynamic control of the output voltage
and current monitor telemetry.
Add regulator driver for TPS51632.

c0cc3f1665 ASoC: wm8994: Allow a delay between jack insertion and microphone detect
This can be used to provide some additional settling time to ensure that
we don't start microphone detection while the microphone pin is connected
to one of the headphone pins.

1e66210a31 ARM: imx: remove header file mach/irqs.h
The only mach/irqs.h user outside arch/arm/mach-imx is
sound/soc/fsl/imx-pcm-fiq.c, which refers to mxc_set_irq_fiq().
Move the declaration into include/linux/platform_data/asoc-imx-ssi.h,
so that we can remove mach/irqs.h includsion from imx-pcm-fiq.c.

Inside arch/arm/mach-imx, the only users to mach/irqs.h are avic.c
and tzic.c for referring to macro FIQ_START.  Let's move the macro
into irq-common.h and get rid of mach/irqs.h completely.

e51d0f0ac4 dma: imx-dma: remove cpu_is_xxx by using platform_device_id
It changes the driver to use platform_device_id rather than cpu_is_xxx
to determine the controller type, and updates the platform code
accordingly.

As the result, mach/hardware.h inclusion gets removed from the driver.

Pull UAPI disintegration for include/linux/{,byteorder/}*.h from David Howells:
 "The patches contained herein do the following:

 (1) Remove kernel-only stuff in linux/ppp-comp.h from the UAPI.  I checked
     this with Paul Mackerras before I created the patch and he suggested some
     extra bits to unexport.

 (2) Remove linux/blk_types.h entirely from the UAPI as none of it is userspace
     applicable, and remove from the UAPI that part of linux/fs.h that was the
     reason for linux/blk_types.h being exported in the first place.  I
     discussed this with Jens Axboe before creating the patch.

 (3) The big patch of the series to disintegrate include/linux/*.h as a unit.
     This could be split up, though there would be collisions in moving stuff
     between the two Kbuild files when the parts are merged as that file is
     sorted alphabetically rather than being grouped by subsystem.

     Of this set of headers, 17 files have changed in the UAPI exported region
     since the 4th and only 8 since the 9th so there isn't much change in this
     area - as one might expect.

     It should be pretty obvious and straightforward if it does come to fixing
     up: stuff in __KERNEL__ guards stays where it is and stuff outside moves
     to the same file in the include/uapi/linux/ directory.

     If a new file appears then things get a bit more complicated as the
     "headers +=" line has to move to include/uapi/linux/Kbuild.  Only one new
     file has appeared since the 9th and I judge this type of event relatively
     unlikely.

 (4) A patch to disintegrate include/linux/byteorder/*.h as a unit.
