a2367807b8 ACPI / PM: Make acpi_bus_init_power() more robust
The ACPI specification requires the _PSC method to be present under
a device object if its power state cannot be inferred from the states
of power resources used by it (ACPI 5, Section 7.6.2). However, it
also requires that (for power states D0-D2 and D3hot) if the _PSn
(n = 0, 1, 2, 3) method is present under the device object, it also
must be executed after the power resources have been set
appropriately for the device to go into power state Dn (D3 means
D3hot in this case). Thus it is not clear from the specification
whether or not the _PSn method should be executed if the initial
configuraion of power resources used by the device indicates power
state Dn and the _PSC method is not present.

The current implementation of acpi_bus_init_power() is based on the
assumption that it should not be necessary to execute _PSn in the
above situation, but experience shows that in fact that assumption
need not be satisfied. For this reason, make acpi_bus_init_power()
always execute _PSn if the initial configuration of device power
resources indicates power state Dn.

6a89a314ab gpio: devm_gpio_* support should not depend on GPIOLIB
Some architectures (e.g. blackfin) provide gpio API without requiring
GPIOLIB support (ARCH_WANT_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB). devm_gpio_* functions
should also work for these architectures, since they do not really
depend on GPIOLIB.

Add a new option GPIO_DEVRES (enabled by default) to control the build
of devres.c. It also removes the empty version of devm_gpio_*
functions for !GENERIC_GPIO build from linux/gpio.h, and moves the
function declarations from asm-generic/gpio.h into linux/gpio.h.

1f0529b4d8 mfd: tc3589x: Use simple irqdomain
This fixes a regression in the TC3589x driver introduced in
commit 15e27b1088
"mfd: Provide the tc3589x with its own IRQ domain"

If a system with a TC3589x expander is booted and a base
IRQ is passed from platform data, a legacy domain will
be used. However, since the Ux500 is now switched to use
SPARSE_IRQ, no descriptors get allocated on-the-fly,
and we get a crash.

Fix this by switching to using the simple irqdomain that
will handle this uniformly and also allocates descriptors
explicitly.

Also fix two small whitespace errors in the vicinity while
we're at it.

be2d7e4233 Input: atkbd - fix multi-byte scancode handling on reconnect
On resume from suspend there is a possibility for multi-byte scancodes
to be handled incorrectly. atkbd_reconnect disables the processing of
scancodes in software by calling atkbd_disable, but the keyboard may
still be active because no disconnect command was sent. Later, software
handling is re-enabled. If a multi-byte scancode sent from the keyboard
straddles the re-enable, only the latter byte(s) will be handled.

In practice, this leads to cases where multi-byte break codes (ex. "e0
4d" - break code for right-arrow) are misread as make codes ("4d" - make
code for numeric 6), leading to one or more unwanted, untyped characters
being interpreted.

The solution implemented here involves sending command f5 (reset
disable) to the keyboard prior to disabling software handling of codes.
Later, the command to re-enable the keyboard is sent only after we are
prepared to handle scancodes.

666b7793d4 goldfish: tty driver
This provides a console driver for the Goldfish virtual platform. The original
is from Arve with changes from Jun Nakajima and Tom Keel. This has been then
been ported to the current kernel and to the tty port mechanism by Alan Cox.
In the process it gained proper POSIX semantics and vhangup works. The default
name is not ttyS as this belongs to the 8250 driver. Instead ttyGFx is now used.

In the normal usage case the first port serves as a kernel logging console and
the second one carries various other data streams for the emulation.

771d394fbd drivers/video/omap: remove depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL
The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a
while now and is almost always enabled by default. As agreed during the
Linux kernel summit, remove it from any "depends on" lines in Kconfigs.
