We still need to fix up few places for multiplatform support,
but that can proceed separately. Fix the issue by making the
problem drivers depends !ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM for now.
The remaining pieces that are not multiplatform compatible
for omap2+ SoCs are:
1. Some drivers are using custom omap_dm_timer calls
There are two drivers that are directly usign omap hardware
timers for PWM and DSP clocking: drivers/media/rc/ir-rx51.c and
drivers/staging/tidspbridge/core/dsp-clock.c. These can be
fixed for multiplatform by allowing a minimal set of hardware
timers to be accessed, and for some functionality by using the
hrtimer framework.
2. Hardware OMAP4_ERRATA_I688 needs to be fixed up
This can't be enabled for multiplatform configurations in
it's current form. It may be possible to fix it up to do
instruction replacement early on during init. Luckily it
looks like this errata does not seem to get hit with
mainline kernel code alone at least currently.
3. Legacy header needed for omap-sham.c
Looks like it still needs mach/irqs.h for omap1 that
does not exist for multiplatform systems. Just ifdef
it for now.
4. Mailbox is waiting to get moved to drivers
Disable it for now to avoid adding a dependency to the
mailbox patches.

Right now the rx flush is not doing anything useful on AR9003+, as it only
works if the buffers in the rx FIFO have not been purged yet, as is done
by ath_stoprecv.
To fix this, always call ath_flushrecv from within ath_stoprecv before
the FIFO is emptied, but still after the hw receive path has been stopped.
This ensures that frames received (and ACKed by the hardware) shortly before
a reset will be seen by the software, which should improve A-MPDU session
stability.

Ensure that the rx tasklet is no longer running when entering the reset path.
Also remove the distinction between flush and no-flush frame processing.
If a frame has been received and ACKed by the hardware, the stack needs to see
it, so that the BA receive window does not go out of sync.

Currently "adapter->config_bands" is updated during infra
association only if channel is provided by user in "iw connect"
command. config_bands is used while preparing association
request to calculate supported rates by intersecting our rates
with the rates advertised by AP.
There is corner case in which we include zero rates in
supported rates TLV based on previous IBSS network history,
which leads to association failure.
This patch fixes the problem by correctly updating config_bands.

[Issue]
There is a scenario which efi_pstore may hang up:
- cpuA grabs efivars->lock
- cpuB panics and calls smp_send_stop
- smp_send_stop sends IRQ to cpuA
- after 1 second, cpuB gives up on cpuA and sends an NMI instead
- cpuA is now in an NMI handler while still holding efivars->lock
- cpuB is deadlocked
This case may happen if a firmware has a bug and
cpuA is stuck talking with it.
[Solution]
This patch changes a spin_lock to a spin_trylock in non-blocking paths.
and if the spin_lock has already taken by another cpu,
it returns without accessing to a firmware to avoid the deadlock.

In the privcmd Linux driver two checks in the functions
privcmd_ioctl_mmap and privcmd_ioctl_mmap_batch are not needed as they
are trying to enforce hypervisor-level access control. They should be
removed as they break secondary control domains when performing dom0
disaggregation. Xen itself provides adequate security controls around
these hypercalls and these checks prevent those controls from
functioning as intended.

The uvc_set_ctrl() calls don't write to the hardware. A failure at that
point thus leaves the device in a clean state, with no control modified.
Set the error_idx field to the count value to reflect that, as per the

TRY_EXT_CTRLS is unchanged and the error_idx field must always be set to
the failed control index in that case.

When transport_lookup_tmr_lun() fails and we return a task management
response from target_complete_tmr_failure(), we need to call
transport_cmd_check_stop_to_fabric() to release the last ref to the
cmd after calling se_tfo->queue_tm_rsp(), or else we will never remove
the failed TMR from the session command list (and we'll end up waiting
forever when trying to tear down the session).

If a backend IO takes a really long then an initiator might abort a
command, and then when it gives up on the abort, send a LUN reset too,
all before we process any of the original command or the abort. (The
abort will wait for the backend IO to complete too)
When the backend IO final completes (or fails), the abort handling
will proceed and queue up a "return aborted status" operation. Then,
while that's still pending, the LUN reset might find the original
command still on the LUN's list of commands and try to return aborted
status again, which leads to a use-after free when the first
se_tfo->queue_status call frees the command and then the second
se_tfo->queue_status call runs.
Fix this by removing a command from the LUN state_list when we first
are about to queue aborted status; we shouldn't do anything
LUN-related after we've started returning status, so this seems like
the correct thing to do.

This patch fixes a regression bug introduced during v3.6.x code with
the following commit to drop transport_add_cmd_to_queue(), which
originally re-set CMD_T_ACTIVE during pending WRITE I/O submission:
commit af8772926f
Author: Christoph Hellwig <hch@infradead.org>
Date: Sun Jul 8 15:58:49 2012 -0400
target: replace the processing thread with a TMR work queue
The following sequence happens for write commands (or any other
commands with a data out phase):
- The transport calls target_submit_cmd(), which sets CMD_T_ACTIVE in
cmd->transport_state and sets cmd->t_state to TRANSPORT_NEW_CMD.
- Things go on transport_generic_new_cmd(), which notices that the
command needs to transfer data, so it sets cmd->t_state to
TRANSPORT_WRITE_PENDING and calls transport_cmd_check_stop().
- transport_cmd_check_stop() clears CMD_T_ACTIVE in cmd->transport_state
and returns in the normal case.
- Then we continue on to call ->se_tfo->write_pending().
- The data comes back from the initiator, and the transport calls
target_execute_cmd(), which sets cmd->t_state to TRANSPORT_PROCESSING
and calls into the backend to actually write the data.
At this point, the backend might take a long time to complete the
command, since it has to do real IO. If an abort request comes in for
this command at this point, it will not wait for the command to finish
since CMD_T_ACTIVE is not set. Then when the command does finally
finish, we blow up with use-after-free.
Avoid this by setting CMD_T_ACTIVE in target_execute_cmd() so that
transport_wait_for_tasks() waits for the command to finish executing.
This matches the behavior from before commit 1389533ef9 ("target:
remove transport_generic_handle_data"), when data was signaled via
transport_generic_handle_data(), which set CMD_T_ACTIVE because it
called transport_add_cmd_to_queue().
