ea40240178 ab8500_bm: Recharge condition not optimal for battery
Today the battery recharge is determined with a voltage threshold. This
voltage threshold is only valid when the battery is relaxed. In charging
algorithm the voltage read is the loaded battery voltage and no
compensation is done to get the relaxed voltage. When maintenance
charging is not selected, this makes the recharging condition to almost
immediately activate when there is a discharge present on the battery.

Depending on which vendor the battery comes from this behavior can wear
out the battery much faster than normal.

The fuelgauge driver is responsible to monitor the actual battery
capacity and is able to estimate the remaining capacity. It is better to
use the remaining capacity as a limit to determine when battery should
be recharged.

d0b4d64aad xen/grant-table: correctly initialize grant table version 1
Commit 85ff6acb07 (xen/granttable: Grant
tables V2 implementation) changed the GREFS_PER_GRANT_FRAME macro from
a constant to a conditional expression. The expression depends on
grant_table_version being appropriately set. Unfortunately, at init
time grant_table_version will be 0. The GREFS_PER_GRANT_FRAME
conditional expression checks for "grant_table_version == 1", and
therefore returns the number of grant references per frame for v2.

This causes gnttab_init() to allocate fewer pages for gnttab_list, as
a frame can old half the number of v2 entries than v1 entries. After
gnttab_resume() is called, grant_table_version is appropriately
set. nr_init_grefs will then be miscalculated and gnttab_free_count
will hold a value larger than the actual number of free gref entries.

If a guest is heavily utilizing improperly initialized v1 grant
tables, memory corruption can occur. One common manifestation is
corruption of the vmalloc list, resulting in a poisoned pointer
derefrence when accessing /proc/meminfo or /proc/vmallocinfo:

[ 40.770064] BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 0000200200001407

[ 40.770107] Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP
[ 40.770114] CPU 10

This patch introduces a static variable, grefs_per_grant_frame, to
cache the calculated value. gnttab_init() now calls
gnttab_request_version() early so that grant_table_version and
grefs_per_grant_frame can be appropriately set. A few BUG_ON()s have
been added to prevent this type of bug from reoccurring in the future.

9969085e7e bnx2x: Added FW GRO bridging support
Since submit 621b4d6 the bnx2x driver support FW GRO.
However, when using the device with GRO enabled in bridging
scenarios throughput is very low, as the bridge expects all
incoming packets to be passed with CHECKSUM_PARTIAL -
a demand which is satisfied by the SW GRO implementation,
but was missed in the bnx2x driver implementation (which returned
CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY).

Now, given that the traffic is supported by FW GRO (TCP/IP),
the bnx2x driver calculates the pseudo checksum by itself,
passing skbs with CHECKSUM_PARTIAL and giving a much better
throughput when receiving GRO traffic.

41d16512eb timer: vt8500: Convert vt8500 to use CLKSRC_OF
This patch converts arch-vt8500 to make use of CLKSRC_OF. Doing so
removes the need for include/linux/vt8500_timer.h as vt8500_timer_init
no longer needs to be visible outside vt8500_timer.c

a464918419 HID: add support for Sony RF receiver with USB product id 0x0374
Some Vaio desktop computers, among them the VGC-LN51JGB multimedia PC, have
a RF receiver, multi-interface USB device 054c:0374, that is used to connect
a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse.

The keyboard works flawlessly, but the mouse (VGP-WMS3 in my case) does not
seem to be generating any pointer events. The problem is that the mouse pointer
is wrongly declared as a constant non-data variable in the report descriptor
(see lsusb and usbhid-dump output below), with the consequence that it is
ignored by the HID code.

Add this device to the have-special-driver list and fix up the report
descriptor in the Sony-specific driver which happens to already have a fixup
for a similar firmware bug.

c354c893dd drm/nouveau: use ttm_bo_reserve_slowpath in validate_init, v2
Similar rationale to the identical commit in drm/ttm.
Instead of only waiting for unreservation, we make sure we actually
own the reservation, then retry to get the rest.

Changes since v1:
 - Increase the seqno before calling ttm_bo_reserve_slowpath

f2d476a110 drm/ttm: use ttm_bo_reserve_slowpath_nolru in ttm_eu_reserve_buffers, v2
This requires re-use of the seqno, which increases fairness slightly.
Instead of spinning with a new seqno every time we keep the current one,
but still drop all other reservations we hold. Only when we succeed,
we try to get back our other reservations again.

This should increase fairness slightly as well.

Changes since v1:
 - Increase val_seq before calling ttm_bo_reserve_slowpath_nolru and
retrying to take all entries to prevent a race.
