Pull ARM SoC multiplatform support from Arnd Bergmann:
 "Converting more ARM platforms to multiplatform support.  This time,
  OMAP gets converted, which is a major step since this is by far the
  largest platform in terms of code size.  The same thing happens to the
  vt8500 platform."

Pull sh-mobile pinctrl conversion from Arnd Bergmann:
 "This is another cleanup series, containing the move of the Renesas
  SH-Mobile pin controller code from arch/arm/mach-shmobile over to the
  generic pinctrl subsystem, changing it over to the common interfaces
  in the process.

  Based on agreement between Olof, Paul Mundt, Linus Walleij and Simon,
  we're merging this large branch of pinctrl conversion through arm-soc,
  even though it contains the corresponding conversions for arch/sh.
  Main reason for this is tight dependencies (that will now mostly be
  broken) between the arch/sh and mach-shmobile implementations.

  There will be more of this in 3.10 to do device-tree bindings, but
  this is the initial conversion."

Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Arnd Bergmann:
 "A large number of cleanups, all over the platforms.  This is dominated
  largely by the Samsung platforms (s3c, s5p, exynos) and a few of the
  others moving code out of arch/arm into more appropriate subsystems.

  The clocksource and irqchip drivers are now abstracted to the point
  where platforms that are already cleaned up do not need to even
  specify the driver they use, it can all get configured from the device
  tree as we do for normal device drivers.  The clocksource changes
  basically touch every single platform in the process.

  We further clean up the use of platform specific header files here,
  with the goal of turning more of the platforms over to being
  "multiplatform" enabled, which implies that they cannot expose their
  headers to architecture independent code any more.

  It is expected that no functional changes are part of the cleanup.
  The overall reduction in total code lines is mostly the result of
  removing broken and obsolete code."

69dde4c52d ARM: 7654/1: Preserve L_PTE_VALID in pte_modify()
Following commit 26ffd0d4 (ARM: mm: introduce present, faulting entries
for PAGE_NONE), if a page has been mapped as PROT_NONE, the L_PTE_VALID
bit is cleared by the set_pte_ext() code. With LPAE the software and
hardware pte share the same location and subsequent modifications of pte
range (change_protection()) will leave the L_PTE_VALID bit cleared.

This patch adds the L_PTE_VALID bit to the newprot mask in pte_modify().

70264367a2 ARM: 7653/2: do not scale loops_per_jiffy when using a constant delay clock
When udelay() is implemented using an architected timer, it is wrong
to scale loops_per_jiffy when changing the CPU clock frequency since
the timer clock remains constant.

The lpj should probably become an implementation detail relevant to
the CPU loop based delay routine only and more confined to it. In the
mean time this is the minimal fix needed to have expected delays with
the timer based implementation when cpufreq is also in use.

9cb0d1babf ARM: prima2: remove duplicate v7_invalidate_l1
Patch c08e20d "arm: Add v7_invalidate_l1 to cache-v7.S" added
a generic version of this function and removed all platform
specific versions, while 4898de3 "ARM: PRIMA2: add new SiRFmarco
SMP SoC infrastructures" added another one, leading to a link
error. I verified that the two are identical, so we can
just remove the one in mach-prima2.

3216dceb31 xen: introduce xen_remap, use it instead of ioremap
ioremap can't be used to map ring pages on ARM because it uses device
memory caching attributes (MT_DEVICE*).

Introduce a Xen specific abstraction to map ring pages, called
xen_remap, that is defined as ioremap on x86 (no behavioral changes).
On ARM it explicitly calls __arm_ioremap with the right caching
attributes: MT_MEMORY.

Based on our comments, Roger Quadros quickly reworked these

tree, then separate patches for the OMAP platform data and

f9047306fd ARM: shmobile: r8a7779: Correct TMU clock support again
After discussion on the linux-sh mailing list and reference to the
hardware documentation it appears that 'TMU00', 'TMU01' and 'TMU02'
use a common clock.

The sh_tmu.1 portion of this change resolves a regression introduced in
58079fa7d5 (ARM: shmobile: r8a7779: Correct
TMU clock support) and fixes a regression introduced by that patch. That
patch is queued up for v3.9.

9520a5bece ARM: 7649/1: mm: mm->context.id fix for big-endian
Since the new ASID code in b5466f8728
("ARM: mm: remove IPI broadcasting on ASID rollover") was changed to
use 64bit operations it has broken the BE operation due to an issue
with the MM code accessing sub-fields of mm->context.id.

When running in BE mode we see the values in mm->context.id are stored
with the highest value first, so the LDR in the arch/arm/mm/proc-macros.S
reads the wrong part of this field. To resolve this, change the LDR in
the mmid macro to load from +4.

352af7d4dd ARM: 7648/1: pci: Allow passing per-controller private data
In order to allow drivers to specify private data for each controller,
this commit adds a private_data field to the struct hw_pci. This field
is an array of nr_controllers pointers that will be used to initialize
the private_data field of the corresponding controller's pci_sys_data
structure.

101eeda38c ARM: 7646/1: mm: use static_vm for managing static mapped areas
A static mapped area is ARM-specific, so it is better not to use
generic vmalloc data structure, that is, vmlist and vmlist_lock
for managing static mapped area. And it causes some needless overhead and
reducing this overhead is better idea.

Now, we have newly introduced static_vm infrastructure.
With it, we don't need to iterate all mapped areas. Instead, we just
iterate static mapped areas. It helps to reduce an overhead of finding
matched area. And architecture dependency on vmalloc layer is removed,
so it will help to maintainability for vmalloc layer.
