60013b94d9 mfd: Add STw481x driver
This adds a driver for the STw481x PMICs found in the Nomadik
family of platforms. This one uses pure device tree probing.
Print some of the OTP registers on boot and register a regulator
MFD child.

26b818511c mfd: rtsx: Modify rts5249_optimize_phy
In some platforms, specially Thinkpad series, rts5249 won't be
initialized properly. So we need adjust some phy parameters to
improve the compatibility issue.

It is a little different between simulation and real chip. We have
no idea about which configuration is better before tape-out. We set
default settings according to simulation, but need to tune these
parameters after getting the real chip.

I can't explain every change in detail here. The below information is
just a rough description:

PHY_REG_REV: Disable internal clkreq_tx, enable rx_pwst
PHY_BPCR: No change, just turn the magic number to macro definitions
PHY_PCR: Change OOBS sensitivity, from 60mV to 90mV
PHY_RCR2: Control charge-pump current automatically
PHY_FLD4: Use TX cmu reference clock
PHY_RDR: Change RXDSEL from 30nF to 1.9nF
PHY_RCR1: Change the duration between adp_st and asserting cp_en from
0.32 us to 0.64us
PHY_FLD3: Adjust internal timers
PHY_TUNE: Fine tune the regulator12 output voltage

1a54b7dabf mfd: ti_am335x_tscadc: Fix idle timeout value
The old timeout value was based on the assumption that the minimum values are
used for the open and sample delay and no averaging is done. In fact the ADC
and touchscreen driver both use an open delay of 152 cycles and averaging over
16 samples. This patch adjusts the timeout value accordingly

7fcd427465 mfd: Allow mapping regulator supplies to MFD device from children
Occasionally, it is useful to map supplies from a child device onto the
MFD device. A typical usecase for this would be if the MFD device is
represented as a single node in device tree. All supplies will be
defined in device tree as existing on the MFD device. When a child
depends on frameworks which might have no knowledge of MFD to lookup
supplies on its behalf the supply will not be found.

This patch adds a list of supplies that should be looked up on the
parent rather than the child as part of the mfd_cell structure.

67f13daadc mfd: dbx500-prcmu: Move PRCMU numerical clock identifiers into DT include file
These are required to request DBx500 PRCMU clocks from Device Tree. The
numbers used are taken directly from the Hardware Specification document.
We're moving them from the DBx500 PRCMU include file into the DT include
directory and referencing them from the former via a #include.

A number of new drivers and some new functionality + a lot of cleanups
all over IIO.

New Core Elements

1) New INT_TIME info_mask element for integration time, which may have
   different effects on measurement noise and similar, than an amplifier
   and hence is different from existing SCALE.  Already existed in some
   drivers as a custom attribute.

2) Introduce a iio_push_buffers_with_timestamp helper to cover the common
   case of filling the last 64 bits of data to be passed to the buffer with
   a timestamp.  Applied to lots of drivers. Cuts down on repeated code and
   moves a slightly fiddly bit of logic into a single location.

3) Introduce info_mask_[shared_by_dir/shared_by_all] elements to allow support
   of elements such as sampling_frequency which is typically shared by all
   input channels on a device.  This reduces code and makes these controls
   available from in kernel consumers of IIO devices.

New drivers

1) MCP3422/3/4 ADC

2) TSL4531 ambient light sensor

3) TCS3472/5 color light sensor

4) GP2AP020A00F ambient light / proximity sensor

5) LPS001WP support added to ST pressure sensor driver.

New driver functionality

1) ti_am335x_adc Add buffered sampling support.
   This device has a hardware fifo that is fed directly into an IIO kfifo
   buffer based on a watershed interrupt.  Note this will act as an example
   of how to handle this increasingly common type of device.
   The only previous example - sca3000 - take a less than optimal approach
   which is largely why it is still in staging.
   A couple of little cleanups for that new functionality followed later.

Core cleanups:

1) MAINTAINERS - Sachin actually brought my email address up to date because
   I said I'd do it and never got around to it :)

2) Assign buffer list elements as single element lists to simplify the
   iio_buffer_is_active logic.

3) wake_up_interruptible_poll instead of wake_up_interruptible to only wake
   up threads waiting for poll notifications.

4) Add O_CLOEXEC flag to anon_inode_get_fd call for IIO event interface.

5) Change iio_push_to_buffers to take a void * pointer so as to avoid some
   annoying and unnecessary type casts.

6) iio_compute_scan_bytes incorrectly took a long rather than unsigned long.

7) Various minor tidy ups.

Driver cleanups (in no particular order)

1) Another set of devm_ allocations patches from Sachin Kamat.

2) tsl2x7x - 0 to NULL cleanup.

3) hmc5843 - fix missing > in MODULE_AUTHOR

4) Set of strict_strto* to kstrto* conversions.

5) mxs-lradc - fix ordering of resource removal to match creation

6) mxs-lradc - add MODULE_ALIAS

7) adc7606 - drop a work pending test duplicated in core functions.

8) hmc5843 - devm_ allocation patch

9) Series of redundant breaks removed.

10) ad2s1200 - pr_err -> dev_err

11) adjd_s311 - use INT_TIME

12)  ST sensors - large set of cleanups from Lee Jones and removed restriction
    to using only triggers provided by the st_sensors themselves from
    Dennis Ciocca.

13) dummy and tmp006 provide sampling_frequency via info_mask_shared_by_all.

14) tcs3472 - fix incorrect buffer size and wrong device pointer used in
    suspend / resume functions.

15) max1363 - use defaults for buffer setup ops as provided by the triggered
    buffer helpers as they are the same as were specified in max1363 driver.

16) Trivial tidy ups in a number of other drivers.

ca9a563805 iio: ti_am335x_adc: Add continuous sampling support
Previously the driver had only one-shot reading functionality.
This patch adds continuous sampling support to the driver.

Continuous sampling starts when buffer is enabled.
HW IRQ wakes worker thread that pushes samples to userspace.
Sampling stops when buffer is disabled by userspace.

Patil Rachna (TI) laid the ground work for ADC HW register access.
Russ Dill (TI) fixed bugs in the driver relevant to FIFOs and IRQs.

I fixed channel scanning so multiple ADC channels can be read
simultaneously and pushed to userspace.
Restructured the driver to fit IIO ABI.
And added INDIO_BUFFER_HARDWARE mode.

  I merged in v3.11-rc7 last week to get rid of a largeish conflict
  within the sunxi (AllWinner) driver in linux-next and fix up the
  non-trivial merge the right way.  That driver had a rather large fix
  adding locking late in the release cycle.

  Overall the bulk changes this time is cleanups and refactorings and
  not much new features, which is nice.

   - Refactorings for generic pin config handling in the core.

   - Factor out a set of device tree utilities for use in all drivers,
     to parse and allocate maps from the device tree.

   - Some fixes to the core such as more nitpicky locking.

   - Pushed down config array iteration into the drivers.

     This patch is necessary for drivers that want to iterate over
     configs and pile up a stack of alterations to the same register(s),
     or if the driver wants to take a local spinlock when committing the
     configuration.

   - A new driver for the Texas Instruments Palmas PMIC by Laxman
     Dewangan.  This is used on the Tegra systems.

   - A major cleanup and modernization of the PFC (Super Hitachi and ARM
     SHmobile) pin controller and subdrivers.

   - Support for the A20 and A31 sunxi (AllWinner) SoCs.

   - A huge pile of fixes and cleanups: Axel Lin, Jingoo Han Dan
     Carpenter, Julia Lawall and Sachin Kamat did an excellent job here"

c6f39257c9 mfd: twl6040: Use regmap for register cache
Rather then open coding a cache of the vibra control registers use the
regmap cache code.  Also cache the interrupt mask register, providing

                      = (vsel - 53) * 100000 + 3000000;
        56 ... 62: uV = 3300000;

tps65217_uv2_ranges:
        0  ...  8: uV = vsel * 50000 + 1500000;
        9  ... 13: uV = (vsel - 8) * 100000 + 1900000;
                      = (vsel - 9) * 100000 + 2000000;
        14 ... 31: uV = (vsel - 13) * 50000 + 2400000;
                      = (vsel - 14) * 50000 + 2450000;

The voltage tables are composed of linear ranges.
This patch converts this driver to use multiple linear ranges APIs.

In original code, voltage range for DCDC1 is 900000 ~ 1800000 and voltage range
for DCDC3 is 900000 ~ 1500000.  This patch separates the range 25~52 in
tps65217_uv1_ranges table to two linear ranges: 25~30 and 31~52.
This change makes it possible to reuse the same linear_ranges table for DCDCx.

84d72f9cc2 mfd: mmc: rtsx: Change default tx phase
The default phase can meet most cards' requirement, but it is not the
optimal one. In some extreme situation, the rx phase point produced by
the following tuning process will drift quite a distance.
Before tuning UHS card, this patch will set a more proper initial tx
phase point, which is calculated from statistic data, and can achieve
a much better tx signal quality.

This is MFD module providing access to registers and interrupts of DA906x
series PMIC. It is used by other functional modules, registered as MFD cells.
Driver uses regmap with paging to access extended register list. Register map
is divided into two pages, where the second page is used during initialisation.

This module provides support to following functional cells:
 - Regulators
 - RTC
 - HWMON
 - OnKey (power key misc input device)
 - Vibration (force-feedback input device)
 - Watchdog
 - LEDs

0a8d3e2412 pinctrl: palmas: add pincontrol driver
TI Palmas series Power Management IC have multiple pins which can be
configured for different functionality. This pins can be configured
for different function. Also their properties like pull up/down,
open drain enable/disable are configurable.

Add support for pincontrol driver Palmas series device like TPS65913,
TPS80036. The driver supports to be register from DT only.

- Add APIs to map the DT and subnode.

77409d9bcc regulator: palmas: model SMPS10 as two regulators
SMPS10 has two outputs OUT1 and OUT2 and have one input IN1.
SMPS10-OUT2 is connected to SMPS10-IN1 and can be configured either
in BOOST mode or BYPASS mode. regulator_enable of SMPS10-OUT2 configures
it in BOOST mode. For BYPASS mode regulator_allow_bypass() API can be
used. SMPS10-OUT1 is connected to SMPS10-OUT2 and can be enabled using
regulator_enable().
