ff4ae5d931 ARM: OMAP2+: CM/hwmod: split CM functions into OMAP2, OMAP3-specific files
Move OMAP3xxx-specific CM functions & macros into cm3xxx.[ch] and
OMAP2xxx-specific macros into cm2xxx.[ch]. Move basic CM register
access functions into static inline functions in cm2xxx_3xxx.h,
leaving only OMAP2/3 hardreset functions in cm2xxx_3xxx.c.

As part of this, split the CM and hwmod code that waits for devices to
become ready into SoC-specific functions.

This is in preparation for the upcoming move of this code to drivers/.

498153995b ARM: OMAP2+: powerdomain/PRM: move the low-level powerdomain functions into PRM
Move the low-level SoC-specific powerdomain control functions into
prm*.c. For example, OMAP2xxx low-level powerdomain functions go into
prm2xxx.c. Then remove the unnecessary powerdomain*xxx*.c files.

The objective is to centralize low-level PRM register accesses into
the prm*.[ch] files, and then to export an OMAP SoC-independent API to
higher-level OMAP power management code.

139563ad27 ARM: OMAP2+: PRM: split PRM functions into OMAP2, OMAP3-specific files
Move OMAP3xxx-specific PRM functions & macros into prm3xxx.[ch] and
OMAP2xxx-specific macros into prm2xxx.h. (prm2xxx.c will be created
by a subsequent patch when it's needed.) Move basic PRM register
access functions into static inline functions in prm2xxx_3xxx.h, leaving
only OMAP2/3 hardreset functions in prm2xxx_3xxx.c.

Also clarify the initcall function naming to reinforce that this code
is specifically for the PRM IP block.

This is in preparation for the upcoming powerdomain series and the
upcoming move of this code to drivers/.

5e090ed7af Merge tag 'soc-late' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc
Pull late ARM soc platform updates from Olof Johansson:
"This branch contains updates to OMAP and Marvell platforms (kirkwood,
dove, mvebu) that came in after we had done the big multiplatform
merges, so they were kept separate from the rest, and not separated
into the traditional topics of cleanup/driver/platform features.

  For OMAP, the updates are:
   - Runtime PM conversions for the GPMC and RNG IP blocks
   - Preparation patches for the OMAP common clock framework conversion
   - clkdev alias additions required by other drivers
   - Performance Monitoring Unit (PMU) support for OMAP2, 3, and
     non-4430 OMAP4
   - OMAP hwmod code and data improvements
   - Preparation patches for the IOMMU runtime PM conversion
   - Preparation patches for OMAP4 full-chip retention support

  For Kirkwood/Dove/mvebu:
   - New driver for "address decoder controller" for mvebu, which is a
piece of hardware that configures addressable devices and
peripherals. First user is the boot rom aperture on armada XP
since it is needed for SMP support.
   - New device tree bindings for peripherals such as gpio-fan, iconnect
nand, mv_cesa and the above address decoder controller.
   - Some defconfig updates, mostly to enable new DT boards and a few
     drivers.
   - New drivers using the pincontrol subsystem for dove, kirkwood and
     mvebu
   - New clean gpio driver for mvebu"

Pull ARM soc-specific updates from Olof Johansson:
"Most notable here is probably the addition of basic support for the
BCM2835, an SoC used in some of the Roku 2 players as well as the
much-hyped Raspberry Pi, cleaned up and contributed by Stephen Warren.
It's still early days on mainline support, with just the basics
working. But it has to start somewhere!

Beyond that there's some conversions of clock infrastructure on tegra
to common clock, misc updates for several other platforms, and OMAP
now has its own bus (under drivers/bus) to manage its devices through.

This branch adds two new directories outside of arch/arm:
drivers/irqchip for new irq controllers, and drivers/bus for the above
OMAP bus. It's expected that some of the other platforms will migrate
parts of their platforms to those directories over time as well."

Fix up trivial conflicts with the clk infrastructure changes.

ee75d95cea ARM: OMAP2+: PMU: Convert OMAP2/3 devices to use HWMOD
Convert OMAP2/3 devices to use HWMOD for creating a PMU device. To support PMU
on OMAP2 devices we only need to use MPU sub-system and so we can simply use
the MPU HWMOD to create the PMU device. To support PMU on OMAP3 devices, we need
to use the MPU and DEBUG sub-systems and so use these HWMODs to create the PMU
device for OMAP3.

The MPU HWMOD for OMAP2/3 devices is currently missing the PMU interrupt and so
add the PMU interrupt to the MPU HWMOD for these devices.

This change also moves the PMU code out of the mach-omap2/devices.c files into
its own pmu.c file as suggested by Kevin Hilman to de-clutter devices.c.

a2cfc509bc ARM: OMAP3+: hwmod: Add AM33XX HWMOD data
This patch adds HWMOD data for all the peripherals of
AM335X device and also hooks up to the existing OMAP framework.

hwmod data has been already been cleaned up for the recent
changes in clocktree, where all leaf nodes have been removed,
since with modulemode based control, both clock and hwmod
interface does same thing. This reduces the code size to large
extent and also avoids duplication of same control.
So instead of specifying module's leaf node as a main_clk,
now we are relying on parent clock of module's functional clock.

f01b9b73f5 Merge tag 'newsoc' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc
Pull support for three new arm SoC types from Arnd Bergmann:

 - The mvebu platform includes Marvell's Armada XP and Armada 370 chips,
made by the mvebu business unit inside of Marvell. Since the same
group also made the older but similar platforms we call "orion5x",
"kirkwood", "mv78xx0" and "dove", we plan to move all of them into
the mach-mvebu directory in the future.

 - socfpga is Altera's platform based on Cortex-A9 cores and a lot of
FPGA space. This is similar to the Xilinx zynq platform we already
support. The code is particularly clean, which is helped by the fact
that the hardware doesn't do much besides the parts that are expected
to get added in the FPGA.

 - The OMAP subarchitecture gains support for the latest generation, the
OMAP5 based on the new Cortex-A15 core. Support is rather
rudimentary for now, but will be extended in the future.

1c213ba16e ARM: OMAP2+: am33xx: Make am33xx as a separate class
Initially, we decided to make am33xx family of device to fall
under omap3 class (cpu_is_omap34xx() = true), since it carries
Cortex-A8 core. But while adding complete baseport support
(like, clock, power and hwmod) support, it is observed that,
we are creating more and more problems by treating am33xx device
as omap3 family, as nothing matches between them
(except cortex-A8 mpu).

So, after long discussion we have came to the conclusion that,
we should not consider am33xx device as omap3 family, instead
create separate class (SOC_AM33XX) under OMAP2PLUS.
This means, for am33xx device, cpu_is_omap34xx() will return false,
and only cpu_is_am33xx() will be true.

164e0cbf60 ARM: OMAP3/4: consolidate cpuidle Makefile
The current Makefile compiles the cpuidle34xx.c and cpuidle44xx.c files
even if the cpuidle option is not set in the kernel.

This patch fixes this by creating a section in the Makefile where these
files are compiled only if the CONFIG_CPU_IDLE option is set.

This modification breaks an implicit dependency between CPU_IDLE and PM as
they belong to the same block in the Makefile. This is fixed in the Kconfig
by selecting explicitely PM is CPU_IDLE is set.

The linux coding style recommend to use no-op functions in the headers
when the subsystem is disabled instead of adding big section in C files.

This patch fix this also.

3f0ea7645a ARM: OMAP AM33xx: powerdomains: add AM335x support
Add offset & mask fields to struct powerdomain

In case of AM33xx family of devices, there is no consistency between
PWRSTCTRL & PWRSTST register offsers in PRM space, for example -

PRM_XXX PWRSTCTRL PWRSTST
=======================================
PRM_PER_MOD: 0x0C, 0x08
PRM_WKUP_MOD: 0x04, 0x08
PRM_MPU_MOD: 0x00, 0x04
PRM_DEVICE_MOD: NA, NA

And also, there is no consistency between bit-offsets inside
PWRSTCTRL & PWRSTST register, for example -

PRM_XXX LOGICRET MEMON MEMRET
=======================================
GFX_PWRCTRL: 2, 17, 6
PER_PWRCTRL: 3, 25, 29
MPU_PWRCTRL: 2, 18, 22
WKUP_PWRCTRL: 3, NA, NA

This means, we need to maintain and pass on all this information
in powerdomain handle; so adding fields for,
   - PWRSTCTRL/ST register offset
   - Logic retention state mask
   - mem_on/ret/pwrst/retst mask

Currently, this fields is only applicable and used for AM33XX devices.

fe57ab0605 ARM: OMAP2: Remove legacy USB FS support
The FS (Full Speed) USB controller is available on 2420 and 2430,
but not being used.

Out of the 2420 based boards only Nokia N8X0 are seeing active
development and they have external HS (High Speed) TUSB controller.
On omap 2430sdp there is MUSB HS controller, so there's no need
to use the legacy USB FS controller.

That leaves only H4 and Apollon boards that could use the FS USB
controller. As both H4 and Apollon boards are old proprietary
development boards, it's unlikely that we have any active
developers working on those boards using the USB.

So remove the FS USB support for omap2 machines. Patches are
welcome if somebody wants to instead fix it all up to the

e2e9bbeec9 Merge tag 'omap-cleanup-devices-for-v3.5' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tmlind/linux-omap into next/cleanup2
Changes to split plat-omap/devices.c into mach-omap1 and mach-omap2
except for the RNG driver that will be done later on.

As this depends on omap-devel-hwmod-data-for-v3.5 and causes merge
conflict with omap-fixes-non-critical-for-v3.5, this branch is based
on merge of the two.
