1db7afa491 drm/msm: drop qcom,chipid
The original way we determined the gpu version was based on downstream
bindings from android kernel. A cleaner way is to get the version from
the compatible string.

Note that no upstream dtb uses these bindings. But the code still
supports falling back to the legacy bindings (with a warning), so that
we are still compatible with the gpu dt node from android device
kernels.

1a4a66ddc7 drm/msm: remove qcom,gpu-pwrlevels bindings
The plan is to use the OPP bindings. For now, remove the documentation
for qcom,gpu-pwrlevels, and make the driver fall back to a safe low
clock if the node is not present.

Note that no upstream dtb use this node. For now we keep compatibility
with this node to avoid breaking compatibility with downstream android
dt files.

3806a271bf Merge tag 'drm-misc-next-2016-12-30' of git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/drm-misc into drm-next
First -misc pull for 4.11:
- drm_mm rework + lots of selftests (Chris Wilson)
- new connector_list locking+iterators
- plenty of kerneldoc updates
- format handling rework from Ville
- atomic helper changes from Maarten for better plane corner-case handling
in drivers, plus the i915 legacy cursor patch that needs this
- bridge cleanup from Laurent
- plus plenty of small stuff all over
- also contains a merge of the 4.10 docs tree so that we could apply the
  dma-buf kerneldoc patches

It's a lot more than usual, but due to the merge window blackout it also
covers about 4 weeks, so all in line again on a per-week basis. The more
annoying part with no pull request for 4 weeks is managing cross-tree
work. The -intel pull request I'll follow up with does conflict quite a
bit with -misc here. Longer-term (if drm-misc keeps growing) a
drm-next-queued to accept pull request for the next merge window during
this time might be useful.

I'd also like to backmerge -rc2+this into drm-intel next week, we have
quite a pile of patches waiting for the stuff in here.

dc55ac3b52 drm/bridge: Add ti-tfp410 DVI transmitter driver
Add very basic ti-tfp410 DVI transmitter driver. The only feature
separating this from a completely dummy bridge is the EDID read
support trough DDC I2C. Even that functionality should be in a
separate generic connector driver. However, because of missing DRM
infrastructure support the connector is implemented within the bridge
driver. Some tfp410 HW specific features may be added later if needed,
because there is a set of registers behind i2c if it is connected.

This implementation is tested against my new tilcdc bridge support
and it works with BeagleBone DVI-D Cape Rev A3. A DT binding document
is also updated.

ZTE zxdrm driver support for 4.10:

This is the initial ZTE VOU display controller DRM/KMS driver. There

more output devices support. But it's already useful with dual CRTCs

86f46565df dt-bindings: display: display-timing: Add property to configure sync drive edge
There are display panels which demands that the sync signal is driven on
different edge than the pixel data.
With the syncclk-active property we can specify the clk edge to be used to

sync is driven on the same edge as the pixel data.

49c440e87c drm/sun4i: Add compatible strings for A31/A31s display pipelines
The A31's display pipeline has 2 frontends, 2 backends, and 2 TCONs. It
also has new display enhancement blocks, such as the DRC (Dynamic Range
Controller), the DEU (Display Enhancement Unit), and the CMU (Color
Management Unit). It supports HDMI, MIPI DSI, and 2 LCD/LVDS channels.

The A31s display pipeline is almost the same, just without MIPI DSI.
Only the TCON seems to be different, due to the missing mux for MIPI
DSI.

Add compatible strings for both of them.

93a5ec14da drm/sun4i: Add compatible string for A31/A31s TCON (timing controller)
The A31 TCON has mux controls for how TCON outputs are routed to the
HDMI and MIPI DSI blocks.

Since the A31s does not have MIPI DSI, it only has a mux for the HDMI
controller input.

This patch only adds support for the compatible strings. Actual support
for the mux controls should be added with HDMI and MIPI DSI support.

56fe8b6f49 drm/bridge: Add RGB to VGA bridge support
Some boards have an entirely passive RGB to VGA bridge, based on DACs
implemented by resistor ladders.

Those might or might not have an i2c bus routed to the VGA connector in
order to access the screen EDIDs.

Add a bridge that doesn't do anything but expose the modes available on the
screen, either based on the EDIDs if available, or based on the XGA
standards.
