[ Upstream commit 1a635d3e1c80626237fdae47a5545b6655d8d81c ]

The first host interface has by default no interest in receiving packets
MAC DA de:ad:be:ef:13:37, so it might drop them before they hit the tc

859b889029 selftests: forwarding: fix flood_unicast_test when h2 supports IFF_UNICAST_FLT
[ Upstream commit b8e629b05f5d23f9649c901bef09fab8b0c2e4b9 ]

As mentioned in the blamed commit, flood_unicast_test() works by
checking the match count on a tc filter placed on the receiving
interface.

But the second host interface (host2_if) has no interest in receiving a
packet with MAC DA de:ad:be:ef:13:37, so its RX filter drops it even
before the ingress tc filter gets to be executed. So we will incorrectly
get the message "Packet was not flooded when should", when in fact, the
packet was flooded as expected but dropped due to an unrelated reason,
at some other layer on the receiving side.

Force h2 to accept this packet by temporarily placing it in promiscuous
mode. Alternatively we could either deliver to its MAC address or use
tcpdump_start, but this has the fewest complications.

This fixes the "flooding" test from bridge_vlan_aware.sh and
bridge_vlan_unaware.sh, which calls flood_test from the lib.

09b55dc90b net/sched: act_police: more accurate MTU policing
commit 4ddc844eb81da59bfb816d8d52089aba4e59e269 upstream.

in current Linux, MTU policing does not take into account that packets at
the TC ingress have the L2 header pulled. Thus, the same TC police action
(with the same value of tcfp_mtu) behaves differently for ingress/egress.
In addition, the full GSO size is compared to tcfp_mtu: as a consequence,
the policer drops GSO packets even when individual segments have the L2 +
L3 + L4 + payload length below the configured valued of tcfp_mtu.

Improve the accuracy of MTU policing as follows:
 - account for mac_len for non-GSO packets at TC ingress.
 - compare MTU threshold with the segmented size for GSO packets.
Also, add a kselftest that verifies the correct behavior.

9ac9f07f0f selftests: mirror_gre_bridge_1q: Avoid changing PVID while interface is operational
commit 3122257c02afd9f199a8fc84ae981e1fc4958532 upstream.

In emulated environments, the bridge ports enslaved to br1 get a carrier
before changing br1's PVID. This means that by the time the PVID is
changed, br1 is already operational and configured with an IPv6
link-local address.

When the test is run with netdevs registered by mlxsw, changing the PVID
is vetoed, as changing the VID associated with an existing L3 interface
is forbidden. This restriction is similar to the 8021q driver's
restriction of changing the VID of an existing interface.

Fix this by taking br1 down and bringing it back up when it is fully
configured.

With this fix, the test reliably passes on top of both the SW and HW
data paths (emulated or not).

9401b7ff91 selftests: mlxsw: Fix mausezahn invocation in ERSPAN scale test
[ Upstream commit 1233898ab758cbcf5f6fea10b8dd16a0b2c24fab ]

The mirror_gre_scale test creates as many ERSPAN sessions as the underlying
chip supports, and tests that they all work. In order to determine that it
issues a stream of ICMP packets and checks if they are mirrored as
expected.

However, the mausezahn invocation missed the -6 flag to identify the use of
IPv6 protocol, and was sending ICMP messages over IPv6, as opposed to
ICMP6. It also didn't pass an explicit source IP address, which apparently
worked at some point in the past, but does not anymore.

To fix these issues, extend the function mirror_test() in mirror_lib by
detecting the IPv6 protocol addresses, and using a different ICMP scheme.
Fix __mirror_gre_test() in the selftest itself to pass a source IP address.

[ Upstream commit c8d0260cdd96fdccdef0509c4160e28a1012a5d7 ]

The FDB roaming test installs a destination MAC address on the wrong
interface of an FDB database and tests whether the mirroring fails, because
packets are sent to the wrong port. The test by mistake installs the FDB
entry as local. This worked previously, because drivers were notified of
local FDB entries in the same way as of static entries. However that has
been fixed in the commit 6ab4c3117aec ("net: bridge: don't notify switchdev
for local FDB addresses"), and local entries are not notified anymore. As a
result, the HW is not reconfigured for the FDB roam, and mirroring keeps
working, failing the test.

824c94cbf4 selftests: forwarding: Fix race condition in mirror installation
commit edcbf5137f093b5502f5f6b97cce3cbadbde27aa upstream.

When mirroring to a gretap in hardware the device expects to be
programmed with the egress port and all the encapsulating headers. This
requires the driver to resolve the path the packet will take in the
software data path and program the device accordingly.

If the path cannot be resolved (in this case because of an unresolved
neighbor), then mirror installation fails until the path is resolved.
This results in a race that causes the test to sometimes fail.

Fix this by setting the neighbor's state to permanent, so that it is
always valid.

8cd6b020b6 selftests: ocelot: add some example VCAP IS1, IS2 and ES0 tc offloads
Provide an example script which can be used as a skeleton for offloading
TCAM rules in the Ocelot switches.

Not all actions are demoed, mostly because of difficulty to automate

For example, policing. We can set up an iperf3 UDP server and client and
measure throughput at destination. But at least with DSA setups, network
namespacing the individual ports is not possible because all switch
ports are handled by the same DSA master. And we cannot assume that the
target platform (an embedded board) has 2 other non-switch generator
ports, we need to work with the generator ports as switch ports (this is
the reason why mausezahn is used, and not IP traffic like ping). When
somebody has an idea how to test policing, that can be added to this

Changing pool type from static to dynamic causes reinterpretation of

For that reason, set cannot subsume save, because it would be saving the
wrong thing, with possibly a nonsensical value, and restore would then fail

Thus extract a _save() from each of the relevant _set()'s. This way it is

Currently, the first speed returned from common_speeds_get() is removed

the function is called after $h1 already advertised a subset of speeds.

In case $h1 supports only two speeds, it will advertise a single speed
which will be later removed because of previously mentioned bug. This
results in the test needlessly failing. When more than two speeds are

The port can also be declared as an environment variable and tests can be
run like that:
NETIF_NO_CABLE=eth9 ./test.sh eth{1..8}

The NETIF_NO_CABLE port will be used by ethtool_extended_state test.

1c0522b4a2 selftests: forwarding: mirror_lib: Use mausezahn
Using ping in tests is error-prone, because ping is too smart. On a
flaky system (notably in a simulator), when packets don't come quickly
enough, more pings are sent, and that throws off counters. Instead use
mausezahn to generate ICMP echo request packets. That allows us to
send them in quicker succession as well, because the reason the ping
was made slow in the first place was to make the tests work on
simulated systems.

b9b72999eb selftests: forwarding: ETS: Use Qdisc counters
Currently the SW-datapath ETS selftests use "ip link" stats to obtain the
number of packets that went through a given band. mlxsw then uses ethtool
per-priority counters.

Instead, change both to use qdiscs. In SW datapath this is the obvious
choice, and now that mlxsw offloads FIFO, this should work on the offloaded
datapath as well. This has the effect of verifying that the FIFO offload
works.
