kernel: use macros from compiler.h instead of __attribute__((...))

I've replaced all instances of gcc attributes with the right macro in the kernel subsystem. Signed-off-by: Gideon Israel Dsouza <gidisrael@gmail.com> Cc: "Rafael J.
